Hi and welcome to my blog! I go by Tony here but that’s a pseudonym I use for privacy reasons.

As you can tell by the site name and headline, this blog mostly about exploring the deep past with a strong focus on the Pleistocene, a period which lasted from 2.58 million to 11,700 years ago and included the last ice age. This blog will cover news and my personal thoughts on topics related to paleontology, paleogeography, and paleoanthropology.

I have a background in biology as well as a passion for wildlife, history, and landscapes. After spending countless hours researching these topics, I decided I wanted to provide engaging information and insights to people who share my interests.
